The Black Tux review.
Friends of Los Angeles Andrew Blekmon and Patrick Koyn seriously raised a bar on rent of tuxedos by the mail company The Black Tux. Disappointed with absence of options and the qualities available to them in case of equipment of grooms to Blekmon's wedding, couple began business to offer in 2012 the best product at the same price, as national rent. They will make it, having bypassed need for show-windows, distributive networks and expensive marketing campaigns and investing the money instead in well made, stylish goods. The end result is the choice of style which is the modern, but with taste and quality of clothes which you expect from high quality department stores.
Price (US of $).
The prices of a tuxedo in Tuxux style vary from 95 to 120 US dollars depending on style. On the web site it is said that national networks raise a board in the amount of 140 up to 220 US dollars for rent in tuxedos, but it misleads as these expenditures are intended for complete packets. Jos. A. Bank and Men's Wearhouse are actually rented by tuxedos alone for only 60 dollars, though have much more poor quality. The total cost of equipment which I considered was in the upper part of a scale in the amount of 195 US dollars, including a mandatory penalty in the amount of 5 US dollars.
Delivery is free in both directions (pay attention that Black Tux services only the USA).
Style and options.
Basic function of sale of Black Tux is the choice of thin or classical suits. The web site describes thin fit as similar to J. Crew Ludlow (what it meant) while classical adjustment is a little more spacious.
Jackets are available as a classical piany lapel with one button or the modern two-button lapel, but I was told by the co-owner Patrick Koyn that it will be added a shawl of gate soon. The peak model with a top is available in black or midnight blue while notch has only black color. Both jackets have side air vents as normal vtulochny versions were subject to a gap on seams after reuse during original test. Trousers - the modern finishing with plane fronts and low rises. They are delayed with side tabs though Black Tux will add the pendant button on demand for clients who have appropriate cakes.
While vests are available, unfortunately, these are the models with high resolution executed in style of a suit which erase drama the V formal shirt, represented by low laid jackets. (Patrick says that more traditional style will be released later this month.) Therefore their cummerbund - a preferable covering for a waist and substantially need because of low trousers.
Shirts enter the choice of a collar or a collar. The first has a folded bib, the last has no bib, and any model has no French cuffs, at least so far. (To lower initial expenses, the model with folding top was used both with a tuxedo, and with suits.) The option with a krylchatka has removable buttons, and the rotary collar is delivered with removable or convertible buttons.
The available cervical suit consists of the attached and previously attached ties and a long black sateen tie. The self-established onions are offered in the form of a butterfly, a direct or diamond form that is the impressive massif for high quality shop, not to mention the company on a hire.
Footwear is oxfords with usual socks both in patent, and in a usual leather form. Both styles are offered with soles from a brown tree or without them though they, obviously, are suitable for Black Tux suits, but not for their tuxedos.
As for accessories, cuff links, hairpins and a white (cotton) pocket square, as well as clips are available available to a clip.
What is the lower line about a black tux?
Founders of The Black Tux claim that they have been inspired to begin the company because of their bad experience with traditional registration of suits and the rent. But whether they have justified the vision? Apparently, it would seem. Less than for 2 years of The Black Tux has, it seems, made to himself a big name, and each review which we read during our research as it is represented, gives the shining responses. Did you use Black Tux for one of your events? If yes, tell us about the experience, having written the review!
